About

An avid love for dogs, passion for the outdoors, and a desire to spend as much time as possible with my dog Bugsly led to opening of Adventure Paws in 2017!

I'm Jenn!

And pictured with me here is Bugsly! I moved to Guelph to pursue a degree in zoology and while volunteering  at the Guelph Humane Society Bugsly chose me to be his person. Little did I know then that my furry best friend  would  be  the catalyst for what has become Adventure Paws today!

I sadly had to say goodbye to Bugsly in 2019, but I am quite certain that he sent me Jake (also GHS alumni) to help fill the hole he left in my heart. Jake takes his job as CFO (Chief Furry Officer) very seriously and loves getting to spend all day outside with his buddies!

When not hanging out with your furry family members you can likely find me and with mine - hiking the Bruce, camping, paddling, playing disc or learning new tricks!

Committed to bringing you safe and trustworthy pet care, I am Fear-Free and Pet First Aid Certified as well as insured and bonded through Profur.

Our Values

Our goal is provide every client with safe pet care  while enriching the lives of pets! Our adventure hikes allow your dog to just be a dog, we love getting wet and dirty! We value the expression of natural behaviours including running, sniffing, and playing! These values are also reflected  in our boarding services, where your pets become part of our family and bond with us through playtime, enrichment puzzles, enjoying chews, and endless snuggles!

Our pet care is force free, fear free and positive reinforcement focused. As commitment to our fear free certification we will not walk dogs in our care on a slip lead, choke chain, prong collar or e-collar. Our preferred walking equipment is a well-fitted and non restrictive harness. We have many sizes on hand and are happy to fit your dog with one while they are in our care.
